This is especially for @sash .

Will Geelong units really outperform rare earth?

Is @sash a genius in a clown uniform?

    Have your say.

I believe in science, climate change and viruses.

I don't believe in Geelong units.

When has @sash ever bought or recommended Geelong units?

I can't recall either Simon...but hey whatever floats their boat.

I think it is best to leave emotion out of investing...just discuss the investment.

The point about Geelong I did make is it has out performed Brisbane...I did not make it clear it was houses. Anycase.....onwards and upwards....:p:D

I think the key to units in the near future is having them in established pockets & close to infrastructure.
Downsizes will be happy to pay a premium to live in there neighbourhood for lower maintenance living & pocket some money in the process.
I believe street frontage / own driveways to be more desirable.

My parents use to own this property, they prefer super contributions more than property so they sold out.
220k to 660k is pretty decent , I never thought much of it at the time otherwise I would’ve bought it.

    Hold sho ite!!!

Wow! I know that houses went through the roof also.

Interesting.... thanks for the post.... that is next level.

Recently I have seen a lot more Townhomes just like Outer Melbourne are being advertised...due to price points. Getting into a house with 350-400sqm 4x2x2 is 700-800k due to build and land costs. Townhouses start at 500k.

Those old streets around highton are very nice, that unit was done on a online auction threw lockdown which most likely resulted in a much higher price.

We all know online auctions can cause us to click a few to many times especially when they did it over a delayed 24 hour period.

Yep just houses mate....hard to buy units in grown. But as you can see even they are nuts. Pity all my purchases were sub 400k except last one some now approaching 900k crazy crazy it has to stop.

Just like places in Margate in Redcliffe going over $1m
