Finally got the keys to my new place, well the first surprise is there's no hot water (I should try and light up the pilot light later on...) and there's a bit of seepage around the water outlet. Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance :)

I always use Duncan's plumbing. They turn up when they say they will ( or ring to say running late) and I've found them reasonably priced.

Thanks mate. I thought they might be pricey given their ads is all over the back of buses.

I haven't seen the buses. I've seen their ads at the basketball stadium - I liked that they support local sport clubs so that's why I contacted them in the first place - but been very happy with them.

Booked but price is a bit exxy...$154 for call out/first 30 minutes then $33 every half hour blocks. Trying to get used to CBR rates.

Watertight was the best of three quotes for re-plumbing our 3-bedder PPOR. Other quotes were nearly double. Mostly they turned up when they said and did the work in a pretty clean manner (easy to see since the walls are down :)). The quote was still 30% more than I though, but we are talking Canberra tradies...

The Duncan's guys turned up. The apprentice decided to urinate on my neighbour's driveway.

I just want them finish the job and get outta here.

.....and cross threaded one of the pipes so made the problem worse. No hot water till next week when they return to patch this up. Oops.
