On Netflix? I've been looking and looking and can't find it - but I guess I'll look again

Nflix annoys me because of all the 1season shows that don't get renewed. Hubby watches a lot of the Korean dramas with subtitles, does Stan do Korean stuff?

Watched Episode 4 & 5, much more interesting but hate the fact the filming seems to have been done at dusk or evening leaving you wanting to lend them a lamp ... :)

That's probably deliberate - it invokes the colour filming of the era, possibly even the B&W - and perhaps the inherent dreariness of the weather in England. I didn't ever realise how blue our sky was until returning from a couple of years in England.

    In other news

Netflix paid $0 in tax in the US, and just $341,793 in Australia for the 2018 calendar year - despite raking in between $600 million to $1 billion from local subscribers, according to the AFR.

They got nothing on Amazon. US$11bil profit and still scored a $129mil tax rebate ... they sure know how to "work" the system

Why Amazon paid no 2018 US federal income tax

And yes - I fully understand the difference between net and gross profit. Fortunately we have GST in this country, so they can't get away without paying "something", even if it does come from the customer first

‘Amazon tax’ delivers unexpected windfall for government

We have both, so the merger hopefully will be good for us.
We havent watched free to air stations in a long time, but every now and then record a particular show from one of them through IQ, and watch it later.

We love the crime/forensic stuff too.
Been watching "Real Detectives" on netflix lately.
We keep trawling "Forensic Files" on Foxtrel in the hope of finding an episode we still havent seen. :p
Slightly different - also having a love affair with "Love it or List it Aus" with Andrew and Neil.

Just finished watching The Messiah on Netfix and can recommend it. It is about religion - interesting combo of all the 3 main middle eastern ones - and CIA/American conspiracy stuff.

Looks like there will be a series 2 too.

Okay, caved and got Netflix as there is nothing on free to air worth watching (asides from the odd reno/Grand Designs show) and, on 47 degree days, a girls' gotta do "something".

We're behind and still catching up with Vikings - up to season 5 but cripes - there are 20 episodes in each season so that's been a lot of viewing.

According to teen, we're watching The Witcher next

be patient, season 1 can be slow cause its tell you the history,

but its gonna be epic, (if they stay true)

Made it to s1e7 and don't know if I can keep going. It's like a low budget version of Grimm meets Vikings
