Just curious, anyone else get onto any other forums regularly besides PC.

Many moons ago I regularly posted on Steve McK property forum but this forum is very much lack lustre for me., been many years since I posted on this.

PC is the only forum I subscribe to.

BTW, it does not necessarily have to property forums

I swing between the fairfax baby forum and here and sometimes the big mums forum from the UK. I like the contrast in opinions and interests between here and the baby forums.

Im a bit over babies but im on mat leave so this is my distraction from nappies and dribble. Im also thinking what to do with my income when i got back to work.

I was on the Mr. Money Moustache forum but it's the same themes over and over again plus it's majority Northern American posters.... Gets a bit repetitive and complainy and I feel there's this "I'm better than you" smug attitude towards the general population on that forum. Goal is not to waste money stupidly, retire early. A takeaway though, many people don't save (or invest) money for their retirement.

But learning about property investing is inspiring... Lots of ways to do it but you do need to know what you are doing rather than leave it to sheer luck. I'm in this to make money.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty confident that consensus is alive and well here too.

Yep. But what can you do....
We are better than the general population? :D
They have this massive "Overhead on Facebook" and "Overhead at work" threads.... Like 100's of pages long and still going. It's like eating some desserts... a bite is enough but you'll get sick eating (or reading) the whole thing.

But anyway, there's just way too much of it over there. Here it's a lot more about practical wealth building knowledge and the well deserved pat on the back when earned.

And all the stories of pitfalls... Lots to learn here.

    Geeze, I don't know.
Some people seem to be professionals at feigned outrage on any forum.

Yes. It's certainly much more difficult to wind up whirlpool people from here.

Silverstackers. Great forum and a lot of great people but find they're more anti-property/doom & gloom and usually get their info from mass media. I'm on here a whole lot more now as time is better invested here :)
