    Hi,

Just wanted to share some picture of the excellent job my floor guy did. I know some people dislike wooden floor board but I don't care because I like them. :)

That's why I've always liked timber. Just polish every 10-15 years. Easy.

Yep, i think floor boards are a great look...

Just helping my sister renovate her place and there are nice floorboards underneath... too bad the previous owners decided to tile over it and now there's glue all over. Its just wrong.

I am not sure why people don't like them but really good option for PPoR.

Time really does it trick, back in old days, ppl use to cover wooden floors with carpet to give upmarket feel.

Fast forward to now, ripping carpets off and sanding, polishing old wood to make it look plush!

The total cost for the job was $1200 (for everything) with three layers of solvent base polyurthane to the timber floor board. Alot of prep work was required and wished I took some pictures of the old condition to show the before and after pic. Also, needed to replace quite a few timbers. There was no coating at all previously!! The fellow I used is retired and he did it as a favour for me because he was bored.

Is this for an IP or ppor? For a rental I use a matte or satin (semi gloss) rather than full gloss as it hides marks/scratches much better
