The FWP is taking the wrong card with you to pay for petrol.

One of my kids phoned this morning. Forgot to take the card used for petrol and the one they had didn't have sufficient on it to fill the tank. I transferred some funds which were received and cleared in around five minutes.

    Thank goodness for Osko.

I did ask why they couldn't transfer from their main account and apparently the bank hasn't signed up for Osko yet.

Yeah, I've been caught that way. I now have the card on my Android phone with Google Pay. But then, those young people wouldn't trust modern technology.

Out of the 3 times I’ve been to my Sydney office this year, twice I forgot to bring my phone as there were too many other things to remember to bring like the laptop (yes, I’ve managed to forget to bring that, and it was a bit of a nightmare to try to use an alternative PC at work), phone charger, unicycle (needs to be prepared), helmet, lights, wrist guards, food etc. Anyway, my phone wallet has my credit cards. Luckily I can pay by watch….

Dunno. I think I’ll give it a miss for now. It sure I will like the texture of big slices of raw cabbage.

Yet Lane Cove council hands over community land for aged care units and the council owned golf club which runs at constant losses, won't allow redevelopment for the clubhouse, additional tennis, netball courts, squash or other indoor facilities.

Mrs No Mates attended a market research event recently (another fwp) and brought home a bag of goodies :)

Master No Mates needed an explanation for instant coffee - not only had he never seen it or know how to prepare it but why would you do that to coffee?

There is some niceness in the world when on returning to my car there is a note advising I have a flat tyre. $40 repair which is a nothing.

Not so nice is the eighth bar in Tears in Heaven where I need to swap the second and third fingers after the third beat in order to play the next chord. The dramas when I get it OK if doing it slowly but utterly fail when upping the tempo is a real FWP.

    Kids nowadays.....

Master No Mates was waiting for the hot water in the shower to kick in and it wasn't coming through.

I suppose that I shouldn't have unplugged the HWS lead and plugged in the pressure washer.

We have a Sony Smart TV which typical once a night stops playing the program and upgrades the software.

I don’t have an SMSF, but have CommSec shares…. I’ve been using the ‘hide’ function since all the doom and gloom threads started appearing.

There goes my productivity for the day - internet is offline (fault logged - NBN technician booked for tomorrow afternoon) so I'm stuck using my laptop via 4G, which is only good for light admin stuff and not the heavy technical stuff I do on my workstation.
