It's just painful once you're 3 seasons in!

I'm watching Billions, and I don't think the credits are very long at all. So whatever logic / timing they have is really inadequate.

So my daughter is in Fiji, after having had a hard time of it in the Melbourne lockdowns.

Two days after she arrived, she tested positive for Covid, along with many others. She had to isolate for 10 days, and was really sick for the first day. She couldn't eat, drink or walk.

She had two tropical cyclones already. Fortunately, they weren't as severe as predicted where she is.

Last night, they were on standby for a tsunami alert.

She went to get a health clearance for travelling home - and her PCR test showed that she had not had Covid after all. The isolation was not needed. (The test which showed her positive was a RAT).

I'm not sure what else could go wrong for her now. She wants to go diving with sharks. That seems like tempting fate somewhat.

Melbourne looking pretty good new huh? I'd be getting the "comes in threes" third thing out of the way before shark diving

She's already had the "comes in threes" and it kept going. Covid, cyclone, cyclone, tsunami, Covid false alarm.

Why is it that (generally) American YouTube videos have this fancy youbeaut flash graphics, with accompanying emotive and rousing music, intros that seem to last foooooooorever ... and then pop to the presentation of someone sitting in the corner of their loungeroom with a limp looking pot plant in the background?

Setting up a new website based business and a mix up with web designer means I set up paypal account as admin@ and he set his end up as sales@

Contacted PayPal to ask if can change email address ... not until verified via admin@. I don't have access to admin@ email so asked if could simply close account and start again. Nope, can't close account until verified via admin@.

Asked web designer to give me access to admin@ and went into outlook to add the new email account ... followed online instructions to add as a second address ... and now outlook had disappeared completely from my computer.

Tried to re download outlook and it tells me I need to log into my Google store ... I am logged into my Google store!

**** **** **** ... how can it all be so hard!

At the local Costco, there's a QR check-in on the pumps saying that it's mandatory to check in.

Right next to each pump, there's a sign saying that phones must be turned off.

My iPad (Gen 6 bought in 2018) is now very inconsistently charging. Sometimes it charges, and sometimes it doesn’t. Very annoying and I wish I knew how to make it work all the time.

Sometimes a problem like that can be in the cable, where a wire isn't completely connecting. Get a brand new cable and see if that helps.

Do you have to buy 1000 litres of fuel at a time?

Its working if I put some angled pressure on the connector. I'm thinking there might be something a bit loose inside the iPad.

I saw a house for lease in Strathfield - 3 month term & it was free.

Is it rude to ask for the owner to pay my relocation costs & if they're negotiable on price?

Canvass your neighbours to see if they are willing to pay to assist your move.

I bought a printer on Sunday afternoon and I received it yesterday (yay Australia Post). But now whenever I look at things on the internet now all my targeted ads are about printers or scanners.

    Maybe I should search holidays...

Search Epson ecotank, it should work out much cheaper than other options.

Then you might have the same fun as me, with all the ads on your devices being about printers...

    The problem is easily solved.

Just do a lot of Google searches about printers, but don't buy one. You'll still get lots of ads, but without the trouble or expense of buying a printer.
