Hang on @Gockie - 5 am EDST would be 4 am current Brisbane time!

It would help you though, cause your current 9am is our 10am! 1 hour of extra evening daylight!

The Super Rugby trial game between the Brumbies and Western Force was to be held this Saturday. Now it's been deferred to next Tuesday because those darn Westerners let Covid-19 get loose and I've got something else on the go then.

The positive side (yeah, I know) is it it supposed to be pouring rain on Saturday.

Not worth claiming a refund so there goes my $10.

Don't you just hate lazy adverts?

Same photo with a different T-shirt photoshopped into the picture. I bet the model didn't even realise that someone took her photo as she walked out of the coffee shop.

It's the same as what was in my swimwear thread, the swimmers are all just photoshopped.

I can never fathom why a package has to go from Melbourne to Sydney in order to get to Canberra.

That's an easy one. Covid-19. We wouldn't let them in so they had to go to Melbourne for quarantine.

It's the ones that go from Melbourne to Sydney to lost that I don't understand.

Christmas presents ordered on December 1 disappeared. While I got refunded, giving replacement Christmas presents in mid January is not the done thing.

It's possible I didn't wait long enough. There could have been something coming.

I think it's was actually over 2,000 years since JC was born.

And I guess back then, the three wise guys were the original star track.

While cleaning up a cupboard I found my old scientific calculator I used in school.

I was surprised when it still powered on.

It's been sitting in the cupboard for well over 30 years!

Now, if we can just make car batteries last that long, we'll have solved so many problems!

Or turned up early considering JC was born in the northern spring .. but, like the queen, the date was changed to suit the pagans

Was the Queen changed to suit the pagans?

Fun fact - the Queen cannot be studied, because the Queen is not a subject.

    Definition of mercurial
subject to sudden or unpredictable changes of mood or mind.

So he never changed - he was always changing?
