Don't use the remote control to lock the car either, the key works just as well.

    Banks - aaaaaarghhhhhhh!

Had to add TFNs to the kids' accounts today. No problem you'd think.

One of the big 4 - no problem, no questions asked.

Owned by a big 4 - asked 201 questions. You aren't on the account. You cannot update any details, computer says "No!, Goodbye!"

And now the toddlers will also need to self-certify for FACTA/CRS. Got any crayons they can use?

After a week containing several domestic flights (trying to reschedule Melbourne transits via the booking agent is another story) ... good to see airline passenger stupidity and selfishness is alive and well.

#1 complained about the person in front of them reclining, so the in front person sat upright again ... but the complainer then spent the whole flight reclined themselves

#2 played loud middle eastern music on their phone multiple times, each time being asked by the attendant to turn it off

#3 spent most of the flight with mask around their chin and sniffled/wiped nose nearly the entire flight, despite being asked multiple times by flight attendant to put their mask on properly (took it back off as soon as attendent moved away)

#4 - #76 wore their masks covering mouth only, so looked like their "privates" were hanging out

    Aussies ... 95% compliant ... 5% absolute pricks

My wife was invited to a christening of a friend's granddaughter two weeks ago. I wasn't invited - her son's partner law only allowed two guests. But my wife was called to work and so couldn't attend.

They finished the christening, and announced that the next part of the service would be a wedding. There hadn't been any hint of this happening. My wife's friend was devastated that this had happened without any knowledge.

The daughter in law proceeded to tell them that this was punishment for not accepting her early in the relationship. (I have no idea if there was any truth in this).

Bad luck indeed, stopping at #76. Because 77 numerologically is a lucky number that brings good fortune and luck. So close :D

    Forgot to mention

#77 - despite the aircrew constantly telling people before, and as soon as, they boarded that they are not to move from their allocated seat without advising them ... and waiting for permission ... a woman had moved (prior to take off) ... to the empty row in front of us. When the crew member realised, after take off, you could she she was barely holding her fury in check as she told the passenger off

Rounded out just for Sackie :D

Fanging for a chewy choc chip cookie - but the only chocolate in the house was a block (okay, two blocks but don't tell hubby) of Perky Nana chocolate ... so chipped it up and made Perky Nana Choc Chip Cookies

Very nom nom nom nom ...

I hadn't heard of that chocolate. I thought that was because you were the Nana visiting grandchild - but apparently it's flavoured like a monkey's favourite fruit.

It's a kiwi specialty ... and incredibly morish. Only recently in Australia and can only find out now at my local IGA, where I tend to but en masse :D

The first world problem was that I had to use my previous resources

I asked my hair dresser to hide (dye/highlight) my greys which were sticking out fr my natural black hair, so she made me a blonde

Best thing that happened was me starting to go a lovely silvery ash grey, in streaks. Saves me a fortune from trying to get the same effect via dying (which I'd been doing for decades)

Could she make me a blonde too? I'd like one of those, just for a change.

The problem with throwing a couple of thousand flowering annual seeds into the garden beds - is I now can't tell which are seedlings and what are weeds

    That's easy.

    Pull out a plant.

If it grows again, it was a weed. Only useful plants don't grow out again.

Weeds are only plants outside of their natural environment.

You'd say that about the flowers in your lawn as well. :p
