It took me 1 week and 4 hours in deciding to buy a $380 dress for a fund raising party. Got it today by post, doesnt fit well at all. So

Used to happen to me until I bought a Tile and keep it on my key ring. The Tile is linked to my phone.

So, I can ‘call’ the tile from my phone if the keys are lost (and also ‘call’ the phone from the tile if the phone is missplaced.

Neat. However, I wouldn't have been overly upset if I didn't find the phone. On a number of occasions I've left it in the car for a few days (in airplane mode too which is a habit of mine when driving) and not cared about it. Perplexes some of my acquaintances who appear to be wedded to them.

Press conferences where you can’t hear the questions from the journalists.

Can sometimes get them on subtitles.

Maybe if I learn Auslan :)

I managed to lose my fitbit maybe 2 months ago. :(

    I just found it! :)

But the strap with the holes broke, at the hole I wore it most. So I cannot use that strap any longer :(

It came with a spare strap so I can wear it again! :)

But it's waaayyyy too loose.... :(

Started up belly dancing again, after a 12 year hiatus ... seems to be a lot more jiggly bits than last time

It's been shocking with the WA Premier press conferences so yes I've been turning on subtitles but there can be a bit of a delay between them talking and the subtitle so I'm still reading the question when Mark start answering and it turns to jumble in my head. After about 10 journalist questions the questions start to get rather silly so I turn it off :p

I love it when the subtitles are done automatically.

At Easter, they were talking about the services at St Andrews Cathedral.

The subtitles referred to Dan Andrews Cathedral.

Journalists tend to ask the same question a dozen different ways in an attempt to glean a different answer or trip the pollie up.

Yet to see a "trip up" or answer variation ... gets boring very quickly and must be frustrating for the politician

The fragility of phones. For some odd reason they don't like being dropped onto concrete from a roof (cleaning out the gutters at my friend's place.)

This leads to the problem of having to purchase another phone, going through all the settings to turn on or off various settings as well as reconnecting some apps (Sonos, Spotify) to enable access. I had previously backed up to the SD card all the apps and data which was fortunate as the SmartSwitch app didn't work.

One odd thing is the history in the Covid check-in app appears to be phone specific (although the data would be held at the relevant health authority.) Had to re-register with my details.

Don't even have to drop that far - bought a new phone (a few years back), hadn't got around to getting a cover, had it for 3 weeks - fell out of my pocket onto tiles and smashed.

Just as well I don't buy expensive phones

    I buy mid range generally.

Though my current phone has a problem with intermittent charging. I've had it 18 months, but I bought it online with an extended warranty - and I have to post it away for repair. So I've bought a bottom of the line phone as a temporary replacement.

It does most things - except that it does them far more slowly than my normal phone. And while photos and colour display aren't as good, they're still much better than the phone I had five years ago.

Some web pages crash due to limited memory.

(The cheap phone included a phone cover for an extra $1).

    Of course.

I'm the guy who keeps headlights an windscreen wipers turned off at all times to save petrol.
