Recipe tells me to heat the meal in the microwave for 2 minutes and then stand for 1 minute. Problem is it doesn't tell me where I need to stand.

My shaving lotions says to shake well before using. So I have to get up to shake it an hour before I use it.

When I parked at the supermarket, the sign said Parking - Strictly Two Hours. I finished my shopping in half an hour, so I had to wait in the car for another hour and a half.

Before you criticise Geoff, walk a mile in his shoes.

That way, when you do criticise him, you're a mile away, and have his shoes.

If he leaves his shoes at the front door, they'd probably walk that far by themselves.

It's a plot to increase the sales of Swiss chocolate in the country.

Caused me to get the urge for some chocolate. Not Swiss but some hand-made goodies from a place South of me at Mawson.

It gets awfully cold in Mawson doesn't it?

Post code 7151. Used those details in the days of yore when sites asked for personal details. Quite an amount of mail probably was addressed to a non-existant 10 yo female with six children living there.

As to the PROPER Mawson, pricey chocs but the $75 was worth it. Better than flowers I've found.

All I want is a reliable internet with enough capacity to upload my correspondence assignment first go ... instead of taking 20-30 attempts with a "zipped" document at all hours of the day or night (it's called "taking pot luck").

    So ****ing slow

Oh - and I'd like three days of rain please

That is really a pathetic service. You could not even call it a service.

One of the "joys" of living in the country.

My sister in the comparatively small properties around Wangaratta has to have satellite internet and has just enough mobile reception for messages.

We were on expensive and limited satellite for 2 years until finally a land line was available ... had been wired back to the exchange the whole time but no capacity ... they landline is not much better than satellite in quality but at least it's now unlimited and costs half as much

Why all the threads on alternative investments at the moment? Are these the next bubble?

Even the hard core property guys are dabbling in ETFs, WTFs, & FFIKWs.

Uber drivers will be talking about them soon, then we'll all be in trouble.

@Simon Hampel - these must be outnumbering the property posts 2 to 1 by now.
