They say that teachers have it easy. This year my timetable places me into air conditioned rooms for four hours a week. And yesterday we had fire evacuation drill for one of them :(

Darn choices. Do I go to the Brumbies game this evening or give it a miss and head down to the coast.

    Coin toss.

Bloody coin landed on its edge.

So it has to mean off to the game this evening and down to coast early tomorrow morning.

I get a tiny bit annoyed when people inch forward in stationary traffic. When someone does this in front of my Golf, the radar detects that they're pulling away and correspondingly restarts the engine in preparation for non-existent acceleration.

Don't have any personal experience with re-trimming, but if I needed this kind of work done I'd hit up J&A Auto upholstery (Five Dock) or Sydney Motor Trimmers (Alexandria).

Alternatively, go bare carbon fibre and forget the trim :p

Get a new car. That one is obviously worn out.

I went into Aldi and bought some raisin toast.

Took it home and I still needed to toast it.

It should be relabelled 'Raisin Bread'.

Having to put up with pedestrians who simply walk out onto the road without looking.

The RMS Authorised Pedestrian Crossing Guard at the local school - if there is even a hint of a child somewhere on the horizon, she will stop traffic (even though she has only just allowed one car to pass). Not only annoying but causes traffic to bank right back down the street.

A disaster of immense proportions has occurred.

Now up and about after a sound sleep but in a rush to do other things over the last couple of days I forgot one thing. To go and buy:

    Coffee.

Nectar of the Gods and not one bean of it in the house. Nothing for it but to get to the nearest supermarket and hope it opens soon. All else pales into insignificance.

You are the first I have ever come across who referred to HR as a first world problem.
