    Hi folks!

Looking for some recommendations for an investment property for capital growth in Sydney, with about $680k budget.

    Some info:
    - Will be leveraging FHBAS and FHLDS gov schemes
    - Looking for older established homes
    - Will occupy for 6 months so needs to be in Sydney
    - Buying for capital growth and to hold for 10-20 years minimum

What suburbs/pockets would you be looking at? I've started looking into Seven hills/blacktown area!

The current available FHLDS is only available for brand new properties not established.
The FHBAS full stamp duty exemption for existing properties runs out at maximum purchase price of $650K and a concessional Stamp Duty rate applies for properties worth between $650K to $800K

    Hi Lindsay,
I have a spot from the July batch (which I successfully extended to Feb) which should be for established homes too I believe?
And yes definitely, so closer to 650 is my preference :)

Hopefully! Do you have any pockets of sydney you would recommend looking into at that price range?

Hi @Fah - I hope your search is going well. I've had a quick search for suburbs within the price range and growth focused.

Liverpool is an interesting area to check out, specifically Cartwright and Sadleir.
