    Hello all,

I am after recommendations for an financial adviser (AFA approved)? I am based in northside Brisbane.

I am looking for someone who can provide advice on budget management (reaching our goals), wealth creation (property or shares), recommend setup optimal holding structure for different asset types to minimize tax / maximize profit / asset protection, passive income planning, estate planning, and superannuation.

I'd prefer fee-for-service with no commissions financial advisers.

    Many thanks in advance!

You would need a lawyer for that part.

I've recommended our insurance broker many times on this forum. We will be using him as a financial planner very soon. He has a great reputation and has been helpful for us regarding insurances, but so far, no planning.

I'm unsure how he charges for financial advice. We've never met in person and have all dealings with him via phone or email. He's super responsive to emails, calls or texts.

We will be seeing him together with our accountant very soon to plan ahead the pros and cons of selling a house, possibly next year, and regarding what to do with loans, how much to direct to superannuation etc.

Edit: Taking on board @Terry_w's comment, perhaps you need to combine a planner with a lawyer and/or accountant.

I believe FP's can work completely remotely (can do zoom conf etc).

Will PM you details of one in Melb if interested.

Also keen to hear peoples recommendations,
SMSF strategy (our accountant will do the setup/rego), financial planning, insurance advice as well. I reached out to Rolfs one in his banner, but it sent me to another name who I didn't know. Prefer to work with someone familiar
