    Hi all,

Have people heard about the ferry that is commencing early 2016, most likely Feb- to and from Docklands to Portarlington?
I know very little about it. But, I hear there will be a 'trial' ferry starting in Feb. The group that run the ferries around Sydney will be running this ferry. It is a 40 minute journey!
Anyway, I am always interested in Geelong / Bellarine goss.
What do people think this may do for the area?
Does anyone know more about the project?

It looks like the trial will be from Werribee South to Docklands.

It will not work. It will be slower than the train. Fares will be higher. It might only be one or two trips unlike the train which is approximately every 10 minutes. Then you've got to get to the ferry terminal. If you miss your ferry coming home your car is stuck at Werribee South.
