    Hi,

Having another excellent week of repairs, but luckily no more HWS replacements!

I need to replace the rear fence and currently advised my managing agent to obtain a couple of quotes for me to compare as I found the first quote of $2295 colourbond fence of supply, installation and removal of old fence to be rather excessive (just the rear and not all over the property).

I am seeking contribution from my neighbour for the fence as well, but hypothetically if they refuse to contribute to the cost, what are the possible options?

Wait until it falls down, then they'll have to agree to replace the fence.

LOL if they ask for colourbond. Give them a option if their fence are colourbond ?

    1. Draft a letter that is a compliant notice
    2. Drop by to discuss it / present it
    3. Otherwise mail it registsred post
    4. Agree on a plan incl costs and when it will be paid (They may ask for time)
    5. If they say "FY" then have matter arbitrated / decided. They will seek evidence you complied with notice, pics of fence, quotes etc.

You can also find out the length of the fence required and obtain your own quotes if you think the prices provided are excessive.
