Not exclusive at all, of course we're here on PC to learn to make more money. To do all the things we can with it - indulge in luxury, help family and others.

Without intending to be preachy, I see so many people who are only able to be happy by buying new things or eating out etc . They get sad when they can't have that new product they're craving.
I'm trying to train myself to not chase that kind of happiness as it is temporary.

Shopping (for stuff one doesn't need) is actually a proven addiction ... the high from the purchase - followed by buyers regret - replaced by a high from a purchase - followed by ...

Depends on your definition of need...

These days 90% of things I buy I don't need. But I don't feel I have an addiction............... hang on.............

I kept this calendar for 17 years to use it again in 2021.
And another from 2016 to use in 2022.
Yes the first two months are out a day but that's ok for a cheapskate.

So you'd take your Good Friday break on April 9 when everybody else is taking it on April 2?

The other day I got a ubereats coupon for $15 off a convenience store order. I ordered 2 litres of milk and a 170g pack of chips. With the delivery fee; I had to pay $0.97. That doesn't exactly sound cheap in total; but I got 2 litres of milk and some salty snacks for less than a dollar out of pocket; I sort of fell for it... I often fall for these dollar off deals from food delivery companies. I'm a bachelor and have been for far longer than is socially acceptable - so I often buy food out anyways, why not cash in on some discounts.

When Uber were starting up they offered $20 off my first trip. I used the offer when I had a flat battery one morning and I needed to be at work early.
    Total trip cost 55 cents!

The girls would have been rostered to wash the dishes after morning tea in the teachers' staff room. I certainly was. Also considered sexist these days. I'd also suggest most employment staff rooms the women are still the ones expected to wash up.
