The next experienced investor meeting will be on the 18th of February at 5pm near Wynyard (I will accept late Valentine's presents).
This is the third time that we're holding this meeting and it has been a fairly small group so far, which I actually like.

The rules are: You need to have been investing for three years or more and have three IPs or more.
If you would like to be a part of it and want to find out the details, just send me a message and I'll give you the location (same place as previously, for those that have come before) and my phone number.

@Steven Ryan: I hope you're still around then, as I owe you a drink! :)

howwww how about averaging the portfolio?

Lets say you have 5 million portfolio, but own only 2 houses. That person does not qualify, but a person who has 5 million portfolio which is made up of 10 properties they qualify?

    Can you please clarify?

They have made more transactions and thus more experience with owning properties. If you have a portfolio of that size, drop a couple hunjy $k to get a ticket in to the exclusive club
Rules of fight club are simple.

You can buy 3x$100k houses in Port Pirie and it's the same experience gained as buying 3x$10m houses in Sydney :)

Settlements and process is the same.

I reckon the idea of this one is about those who have taken action and what strategy they used, not those who are rich with holding value.

    Just my 2c

But has the 3x100k property owner ever had to address and push through serviceability walls?

    My thoughts are

If you have to ask if you're an experienced investor , you're not ...

Time's no good for me :(

hahahah some really funny comments! I actually think someone who bought an old knock down and then built a new house would have a lot more experience than someone who just bought 3x250k homes.

I reckon... all the above and have been investing for at least 5 years... I mean, in 3 years you have earned a bachelor's degree.
    5 years is a masters.

But Building is not required... that's a subset of a strategy. It all depends on strategy and its not in mine (at least for now). Mine is long term hold with reno. One 13 week reno gave me the equivalent of a year's salary in extra equity for me.
Throw in the Airbnbing for cashflow.

Maybe doing a build can count towards xx credit points. :)

Well done Gockie... Looks like even though you are doing well and using a lot of strategies successfully, you still don't belong in this fight club!

We should create our own club!
