Probably @SatayKing selling and moving to VAS to save on fees:D.

One would think a STW fee reduction is imminent?

If we are correcting grave injustices, I'll point out it should be ".....to try to correct....."

I blame my speech pathologist mother.

Having said that, generally speaking I would not have mentioned it except in the spirit of ensuring no grave injustices. :D

Thanks. Especially in less tax effective environments these unwanted tax events can be a pain assuming there was a CG.

Extremely high probability of Survival is an important factor in fund choice for me.

Yeah one of mine rang ages ago wondering why. Told 'em stuffed if I know blame it on the election. Somebody - no one on here, it was an acquaintance of mine - mentioned it has also happened with VAS at one stage.

STW included franking credits in its September 2018, December 2018 and March 2019 distributions. The June 2019 testing showed that the franking credits already distributed exceeded the franking credits permitted under the “benchmark rule”. As a result, STW was unable to distribute franking credits for the June quarter. To be clear, it is not that STW did not receive franked dividends. Rather, under the “benchmark rule”, STW is not permitted to pass all its franking credits through to investors for the 2018/19 income year or carry them forwards to future years.

Geez they need to lift their game. You’d think given STW’s fee is nearly double that of VAS you’d get your Statement in half the time. Ripoff:D.

Tax returns for personal, trust and SMSF all done and emailed to accountant & SMSF administrator this morning. Getting simpler each year and will be even simpler again next year. Bliss.

    LOL. Probably.

Fortunately for me, if not for others, my attitude, as it is to most things, is one of I couldn't care less. Now that's optimum.
