I'd say @keithj posted this as a satirical look at the personalities on here. Most of us can see a little bit of these in all of us.
He didn't post it as a moderator but as a personal post.

For avatar (and sig changes) I'm nominated terry_w

Perhaps ??? only he knows why he posted this.

I see the funny side but I also think its a tad arrogant as a moderator to post this, regardless.

How do you separate being a mod and a personal poster? Not sure you can do this successfully ??? Not trying to be silly, just saying, it has been raised before and just my thoughts??

    MTR:)

No. Nothing nefarious (so I'm not a lawyer, either). Nothing "hey look at me forumites, I'm about to sell you something".

It's just a pic I use somewhere else. Perhaps I should just go back to the sock-puppet?

    The "mod slanderer"

It's a funny thread it's when you want to put names to everything it becomes personal and likely to offend.

Will this become the first that by a mod to be locked?... Only time will tell..

I agree, it's funny but you could see how some were chomping to put names to the list and I think that's when it would very quickly get less funny.

Value in this thread is not to publically out people on what personality type we think they fall in but for forum members to say- "I think I may have multiple poster personality disorder"

If it did - it wouldn't be because it was posted by a mod - it will be because of the "usual suspects", as you put it.

And then people would disagree over who is what and then it would deteriorate into the usual debates / bun fights / personality clashes that ( most of the time ) tend to bubble along under the surface and aren't obvious to the " non committed " on the forum would rise to the surface and give Sim and the mods some time deleting inappropriate posts .

One persons Figjam / compulsive / Stat master or Anecdotalist is another persons guru :)

To be fair, it is in the off topic area :p

One person's personality disorder is another person's strength.

People are different. Different people have different strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes these differences cause personality clashes with other people. It's just the way it is when you have a large group of diverse individuals.
