I have a portfolio in the HKSE and want to move my individual holdings to an ETF. Generally I want exposure to China, and south east Asia generally, haven't decided yet. Does anyone have any ETF suggestions? I found one run by Vanguard (HKSE:2805) but wondering what else people might recommend.

Thanks for the suggestion - I guess this one charges more management fee but excludes india... besides management fee and coverage, what other metric does one judge ETFs by?

2800.hk is a tracker of the HK index with an expense ratio of 0.15%

There are various other tracker funds

There should also be access to UK exchange i..e Vanguard FTSE all world UCITS , code VWRD with an expense ratio of 0.25%

I believe China has similar access to ETF's

I looked into the holdings of the hkse tracker and it holds mostly chinese concerns in its top 10 so I ended up going with that. The Vanguard one I picked originally looked nice on paper but in the actual market the number of buyers and sellers were scarce, no where near as liquid as the tracker, so didn't choose that in the end, even though it seemed a better choice on paper. Thanks all

When you were looking at the buyers and sellers, was during the trading day? Or after hours?
