Except you can't force them to use Centrepay and they can cancel it at any time.

Plus if you've ever been on Centrelink, you'd know they cut your payments off every now and then for no reason just to keep you on your toes..

Nice, my tenants in Elizabeth have done something similar. The front yard was mostly just gravel but they asked if they could move it to a path on one side and plant grass instead. They have done a good job.

Better to find tenants who work. Don't rely on Centrelink tenants

@Perthguy haha well in that case I would expect to see you there.

@joel yeah you're right on that, sort of. One of my tenants was forced to use it. They would only pay him half his benefit into his account and then pay me the rent and put the difference onto a card that he could use at certain stores. He was forced to have his payments that way for 12 months I think.

@HUGH72 any photos? I think that when tenants ask if they're allowed to make improvements on the property that they will be there for the long run. Because if they're making improvements they want to make it their home and not just a house.

@Johnny Cashflow yeah you're right. That would always be preferable but the tenants Ive got in place have been working well for me for the last couple of years.

That's good mate! It's about finding the right tenants. Don't have to be working or on Centrelink. Once you find good ones that stay the property's are easy
