EBM Insurance - cover for your Taxation Audit & premiums up over 10% since last year!

    Just noticed on the EBM RentCover insurance policy of a property it has a "Cover for your Taxation Audit" of up to $1k any one audit.

    Does anyone know if it only covers if the ATO audits about that property or is it for any audit query the ATO does on you personally? I presume this is to pay for your accountant to liase with the ATO about the audit. If you make a claim would it affect your next year's premium?

    Has anyone else also noticed that EBM's premiums have jumped up over 10% since last year? That's a massive jump, and we've never ever made a claim.

    All the insurers seem to have gone up, but EBM has been steep- their renewals are almost lineball with Terri Scheer now when we've done comparable quotes.
