I've never had success with trying to get a discount with Foxtel. I wonder how many have success?

    Expensive wine.
Cheap wine tastes just as good (or bad), gets you just as drunk. :p

call and say i am cancelling, with conviction within 30 seconds they will ask you what you like to watch, then try to do a package for you,

i have never paid full price for over 4 years, and i have cancelled this week,

    they were offering
add $10 if you want hd/4k
    entertaiment + sports = $29
minus sport, pick any 2 packages = $29,

i have everything with HD/4k $79/89.+ 5 movie titles everymonth

    no contract.

    Good luck,

BTW same with Credit Card fees.

Tell them your cancelling because the fees are too high and chances are they suddenly come up with some "unadvertised deal".

Nice tips to save money.... here’s another

Next time you shop at Coles if they run out of BBQ chickens ask for a credit, get a chicken for free

My daughter mocked me.... said this never happens, so far got 2 free bbq chickens in 2 months

I am literally going to save a fortune, $20 so far and counting:p going to Coles later today, hope they run out of bbq chickens again. Those coles employees - deli section can be a lazy lot :p

www.ozbargain.com.au before buying anything, from cars to flights to computers, you can search for specific things and can set price alerts.

p.s. It can also get addictive and you might buy things you don't need because they are cheap haha

    =)

That's my X factor. Once I win the lotto I'll offer Simon to buy PC at a price he can't refuse.

Then the real fun starts. :p

If one is planning/going to separate, then expensive weddings are a good idea, less to argue about later :p.

The wife and I had a cheapie and we are still together 39 years later. Maybe an expensive wedding might have been a better strategy :D.

Forget that. Buy one share in either ARG or AFI. Not only will you get a free lunch but they pay you to attend (dividend.):D
