    Sash,

I am assuming you are referring to business members?

This forum survives in part from business membership fees.

I don't have a problem with people reinventing themselves, I actually think Sim did this. If business' on this forum are providing a good service to their clients... then great

Has anyone here viewed anyone's tax return lately? who are we to judge on the forum who fits the big hat, no cattle category.

I could not care less about someone's net worth on this forum but what I can learn from them. Interesting I have learnt most from ambitious young guns using strategies that I can piggyback on

Who gives a **** to be honest?
There may be reasons why some people have to talk themselves up, personal issues, mental issues and health issues.
Maybe they are just looking for your approval by talking themselves up?
Doesn't make you a better person by putting someone else down or criticising someone else.

    Do you own thing.
Instead of pointing out who says they have "X" but don't, or who has more money than who but doesn't, I think you should be asking the question "how can I help this person or add value to their life".

Don't know why you took the time to write such a pointless post sash.

I'm with MTR ... they don't stay in our circle very long ... but ... do know one couple who have found themselves in a pickle - not wanting to give up their lifestyle, but health and work issues are seriously looming - they are in total denial.

As for "who gives a ****" - I think you'll find most on here don't care if you're a cross-dressing north Mongolian lumberjack with foot fetish tendencies ... as long as you don't talk the BS ... and if you don't want people to know what happens in your personal life, "don't tell them"

I've found this to be true. Negative people have a pathological need to whinge and find things wrong with .... well everything. They cannot survive in the energy of a positive person and either lift their game to keep up (interesting to see this one play out) or move along and go and be negative somewhere else.
stay true to yourself, everything will fall into place.

    Awesome..
Home grown garlic, so many times I buy whole bulbs and half of it goes soft or soggy.
    Is it easy to grow?

Us too, my mum and mother in law planted garlic and everything else in our back yard recently. Now to find where they put it, need to wait for it to actually grow. It's the purple ones like Lizzie's

I know where you're coming from Sash. Over the years you hear a lot of absolute trash come out peoples' mouths.

You soon quick realise who is ridgy didge and who just blows off their trumpet.

I expect it is so much work being a big hat, no cattle person - especially if you are the lying end of the scale not just the dressed for success type. Trying to keep your stories straight, remembering the illusion must be exhausting.
I have known a few at the lying end - to the point of fraud - and wow it would just be easier by far to wear the hat that fits.
Maybe I'm lazy (ok I am!) but the level of detail and deception is just crazy. Much less work to earn money honestly :p
