    The boys I know who have gone through it are much happier on the other side, though it is really crappy at the time. Don't drag it out would be my advice.

    He might have been the kind of guy who only married for 'social reasons' too. Could've been loveless from the get-go. Finally grew the balls to let the skeleton out of the closet?

    I think there is a really difficult stage in most family situations. When kids are young and demanding, you're busy and tired, you can really grow apart from your partner. My youngest is 14 now and I'm really enjoying having freedom again and moments with my hubby like before we had kids. Maybe you need a night out together or a few days away without the kids.

    One of my work collegues is going through a divorce at the moment. The emotional toll and stress that it places on a person, def not an easy process and made a 1000 times harder with the ex-partner wanting to play hard ball. For him, it was a 70/30 spilt of his asset.
