Dispute with tradie?

    Mini, try to look at this as an expensive mistake you will never do again.

    1/ no fixed quote in terms of outcome and consideration.
    2/ using friends that you can't be honest with in result.

    Pay the guy/ Don't pay him. Never use him again. Move on. Research the correct fix. Get a quote and get it done to your satisfaction.

    Try not to get emotional about it, it's not worth the negativity. Move on. Look at it as a learning moment.

    Just went through a dispute with my landscaper and ended up paying the invoice and washing my hands of it. Gingin is right; not worth the time arguing. I'll just get someone else to fix it and not worry about it again.
