Discount on land price

    Hi,
    I’m looking to buy land in Armstrong Creek/Mount Duneed. Is it normal to ask for a discount on the price or do people just accept the published price?

    Depends who are you buying from.

    I have seen examples where people habe sourced land as nomination from other purchasers, taken land directly from developers if it has come back to market. If you are simply targeting land which is titled or has been advertised in the market, upto 2-3% might be negotiable, more will be your luck.
    Directly from developer in current listings, no discount.
