    Hi. I have two properties next to each other in Gawler. Both a third of an acre. Each property has a house at the front.
    We want to subdivide and sell front of land, probably to a developer and keep one driveway and back land for us. Both houses are rentals. There would be enough room for 4 townhouses across the front. I have begun researching. What are the foundation research no 1's to start with?

    Talk to a Town Planner - ability to subdivide will depend on zoning provisions (as a start)

    If in NSW jump on planning portal and see what the minimum lot size and what zoning you are in before looking to see if it's possible.
