Depreciation Category and Rate - external screen doors

    Under what category would new sliding screen doors ($3300 installed) be considered (not repair)? Doors included lock and security mesh.

    Presumably depreciated, but at what rate and category? Capital works? Plant? other?

    I believe they are Capital Works.

    Check the ATO determinations for div 40 assets. Otherwise as attached to a building it's Div 43 cap allowance.
