    hello!
what is usually the normal deposit amount after acceptance on signing a O&A for an established house at 550k?
is 10 grand a normal amount that goes to the trust account?

    Holding deposit ?
The contract will usually stipulate deposit of 5% or 10% of purchase price

If this is for WA there is no set percentage and the amount is negotiable and often quite low in comparison to other states.
$10k would probably be acceptable for that price range.

In the quieter days in WA I used to be fine buying with a $1k or $2k deposit and I remember one was even $500.

$10k on a ~$500k property in WA seems normal. The RE Agent would normally suggest this amount or higher as it would be close to their commission on the sale.
