First meeting went well, small turn out, good all the same.
Hope to have another one around the end of June.
Any suggestions for dates and venue would be good.
Also threw around the idea of playing cash flow game
    Any interest?

Hey @hammer lots happening ... tell me more ? I've got an investment up there, city unit, we've held onto it since we purchased in early 2012 as a ppor... I'm hearing talk of fracking being given the green light ... loads of jobs being created ... what are people's thoughts about this and impacts on the market in the next few years ? Cheers Anna

Oh dude, I wish I had a crystal ball! The good news is Fracking has been given the green light, direct china flights have started and the current NT government seems to be more or less functional. The scene is set for improvement.

The bad news is that INPEX still has to switch over to production phase and all the coin from fracking is 2 years off. Then there's the issue of appartment oversupply in the CBD....

My educated guess is we're at the bottom. It'll bounce along for another couple of years then start heading up again.

    Yeah. I hope so.

Just bear in mind that the CBD unit market might take a bit longer...

I think Darwin prices will drop a lot further. There’s still approx 6000 workers at inpex that will pack up and leave soon.

There are so many apartments empty.

I really don’t get why they are still building.

Hopefully some more projects kick off soon.

Here is a summary for Darwin April 2018

The month after Cyclone Marcus Darwin has seen a big clean up with many of the downed street trees cleared away. A job advertisement that brought a smile to my face was the position of Director Migration Northern Territory, a well-paid job but with a current 0.01% migration rate I hope the successful applicant has a positive attitude.

A thought is the trend to encourage people to migrate with a bounty paid for employers who employ from the south may make it hard for Territorian’s to get those jobs.
