Charges on savings held at the bank, discounts for money lent? I don't think we're in Kansas anymore...

Negative interest rate loan, sounds like a Ponzi/Pyramid scheme lol. Their central bank should just print and distribute cash via helicopter.

I wonder how this would work. I would look to put money into banks in other countries. Wonder how possible it is to go over to Germany and open an account.
Otherwise take your money and put $1 mill kroner or whatever into each bank, so you don't hit the amount where the negative interest rate applies.

The problem is you will probably have to convert to euros first. This means currency risk.

There's only about 5 mill people living in Denmark. The Eurozone is a big place. The German economy is solid/a powerhouse. They make everything. Lots of things Danish people use come from Germany, particularly if it has to be high quality (Just me looking in as an outsider).
Converting to Euro, how is that such a bad thing?

Not the point. Just observing it adds currency risk. If you wanted to punt on the euro against the danish krone, you would do it even if interest rates werent negative.
