    Hi Guy's,
    I'm going to see a property tomorrow and the agent said that down stairs failed a building report due to slight dampness. Its a high set in the Logan area.
    Maybe could get for a good price but is this a easy fix, to fix the dampness problem?.

    I know without seeing it and more Info its a hard one to answer.
    But generally is dampness fixable without a lot of cost.

    The agent who has told me isn't the representing agent so I think its possible to slash the price on this one.

    @Tranquilo ,

    Best to get Plumber or Building inspector to look at it.

    assumption could cost you lot of money when it comes to building defects!

    Thanks Be Developer.

    Anyway I took another agent with me to check the place out. Even though not being in a flood overlay, 6 or 7 weeks ago they had a heavy rain which blew in under the door and flooded the bottom of the high set.
    So it was moldy carpet and the skirting boards felt soft. Also not legal height. On top of that upstairs felt like you were walking through drunk. Could of only been warped boards but feel its more than that.
    Not going to waste money on building inspection, crossed that one off the list:)
