Damage to rental property WA

    Hi people

    Just a quick question. One of my tenants has ran into the garage brickwork pier. They have owned up to it and said they will fix. The damage is a little more than a quick fix. My thoughts is to involve my insurance company and I have two options. I have strata insurance on the triplex property through AAMI and I also have Terri Scheer which also covers damage. Does anyone have any experience on these matters and whom I should be talking with? I have pushed this onto the real estate agent at the moment but I think I will need to step in. Any advice would be appreciated.
