Just wondering who is buying what, rather than derail the other thread ? More interested in those buying outside of coinspot / the lower cap coins. I won't pretend to know much / i'm just a johnny come lately..but always keen to hear suggestions as there are too many to look at them all.

Hard to find decent coins that haven't mutil-bagged in the last few weeks / that are of relative good value (realising that everything is overpriced imo). I do think bitcoin will do well purely as a store of wealth, 50k by the end of the year imo.

i see it as a bit of a risky play but a great opportunity to make a good few $, i'm avoiding the larger ones (generally speaking) / taking more risk and going lower cap with the thought that a 15 mill company can easy become 300 mill and not be out of place with others around that cap. Acknowledging that billion dollar cryptos have been multi bagging too.

Ive got these - followed by current market cap

    HST - 100 mill
COSS (based on how well kucoin did) - 80 mill
    NAV - 250 mill
    XAS - 138 mill
    CAG -42 mill
    SUMO - 18 mill
    Onion - 40 mill

Bought 1k in PRIX yesterday arvo too, at the time the market cap was 7.5 mill, now at 18 (just an example of my above logic)

    want to buy
WTC, QSP, MOD and various others :)

learnt my lesson with PRL, tried to save a few cents by waiting and hence missed a 5 bagger in a few days.

    not advice.

    Hi, interesting times ahead.

I'm a novice! I have pocket money in Electroneum, Modum and Simple Token.

I'm actually looking at buying one of the top 10s... lots of talk about tron and others but I keep coming back to IOTA - just makes be very curious! :)

But I do like your point of small market caps can potentially grow exponentially much quicker than larger caps.... hmmm

I'm amazed that this market never sleeps, is instantly global and has very few 'experts'.

Take a look at C20 when it lists on HITBTC in about a week.

That is my dream long term coin. The fertiliser is going to hit oscillator at some point, and once the dust settles this coin is guaranteed to still be there doing its thing.

It's the Keith Richards of crypto. If you only invest in one coin. Make it this one.

I got in on C20 5 days before they closed the door, put $1k in at $1.10. In In hindsight, wish I'd dropped in a bunch more but trying not to get too excited and remind myself to only "invest" what I can afford to lose.

Just sent a few buck over to Coinspot now that their deposits are open again, so will be looking for some Alt's over the next few days.

Has anyone been listening to the Bad Crypto Podcast? Funny and picks up a few of the ICO's along the way. It's relatively new in terms of Podcasts (August I think) so if you've time to listen from the start it's suite good to hear their history. The get more polished and funnier as they progress.

I am still bullish on TRX. I think it will do better in the long term given its association with the social media industry and facebook looking to enter the crypto market as well.

Is the HITBTC exchange reliable and safe ? The reviews don't seem that good.

I like the look of Repux. Interesting interview with the guy on the Bad Crypto Podcast, January 4th.

White list is open, next round of pre sales for 29 days starting 6th Feb.

Big backers already from the last presale, the tech and structure is all in place and it's a MASSIVE market they can tap into. All to do with accessing and using the massive amounts of customer data that SME's store but can't/don't know how to do anything with.

One of those coins that ticks all the boxes, good team, solving a "problem", big potential customer base.

    I like it.

I monitor the top 10 and always hold some of bitcoin. I am not one that only buys on the cheap but the longevity of the technology. I don't trade so I don't go on the highs and lows of the market. so my reply is a boring one, i buy 5-6 of the top 10.

I don't bother holding any significant amount of BTC personally.

    Ooh! Small caps! Love it!

I have made by far the most money out of the risky stuff.

I have been using the 80/20 rule here. 80 percent in long term hodls.

As for the other 20 percent...yee haw!

I go in to a small Cap that is ripe for a gain, sell once I reach my goal then put the money into eth/Ada/iota, occasionally pivx in the dips.

I don't always win, but the net effect is much higher growth than a buy and HODL strategy.

Once everything rises I jump on my horse and go in again.

I hold a lot of ripple but I'm not adding to it. I think it's overvalued. Lumens are tied to ripple so not increasing my holdings there either.

I am with Guest on IOTA. The tech is just better.
