    I recommend you contact local agents to find out who is building in the area and then view their building sites.
    Sorry but I don't share info on my builders, Townplanner etc on a public forum as I would be shooting myself in the foot.

    Keep doing the research and networking and always get referrals from their clients

    I also rarely put people in contact with my professionals because time wasters (so many) reflects badly on me. I have done a few in the past but some were totally time wasting and the consultants got annoyed with me. So I don't do it anymore unless I know the person asking is definitely not a time waster so I need to know them personally or they have a solid reputation on here.

    SOLD with DA to builder, off the books.. made 30% profit, I decided to pull the pin, numbers were attractive without building and taking the risk of market turning, Melb been strong for over 3 years, interest rates rising, and I am the biggest chicken...

    Pumping money into the USA market and developing in another hot market... have said it many times for those interested.... easiest way to make money is to buy in rising markets its very simple, you don't need to be a developer, you don't need to be smart you just have to jump in and guaranteed to make money....

    building costs have been rising another 12-18 months to build/sell, hard decision but know I made the right choice.

    Hi MTR,
    Well done on the deal! Maroondah is tough as.

    We have a site in Ringwood East with full working drawings for 3 x 2 storey 2 bed townhouses that we are looking to sell. (3 units on 653m2 block!!!)
    Do you know if the builder who bought your site is looking for more projects?

    Thanks Axel, am now focussing on Atlanta, check out threads by @Be Developer, we will be developing in Atlanta in Jan/Feb 2017 shorter time frame, county turnaround much quicker and build much shorter time frame around 6 months.
    Will post plans etc on this project in the new year.

    Who did you get to do the DA? Did you get a draftsperson or architect and a separate consultant planning consultant?

    Because excellent people/professionals are hard to come by and they are in demand if I give my contacts to everyone on a public forum a couple of things could happen -

    The hourly rate goes up because he has too much work
    I can not use him because he is too busy.

    Therefore shooting myself in the foot.

    At the end of the day, its not my money everyone should do their own homework its the best way to learn IMO
