    Hi guys,
Just noticed a few cracks in the walls nr the ceiling and just wondering if this is of concern?

Should I be getting someone to check this out? If so, who?
    Ps. Based in Sydney west.
    Thanks in advance.

    Drummer.

I assume that the walls are plasterboard. The cracks are joints in the sheets. The tape has split. Nothing to see here...move along.

How long have the cracks been there? Were the walls recently replastered?

Cracks around 2-3mm wide are considered to be cosmetic. Yours are far smaller then this. Monitor only at this stage. You'll probably find they appear and diminish in size with rain/dry periods. You may have a water sucking tree nearby that dries out the soil near the foundations.

Just noticed them to be honest. Walls haven't been re plastered for at least a year. Before that not sure (not occupied by us prior) but doesn't seem like it.
