I didn't realise you had water restrictions as well.

So showering is off the cards - it's not one of the nominated uses.

But you should be able to have a hose down on the grass, right?

Washing dishes or washing clothes aren't allowable uses either.

    Neither is drinking water.

Even worse - making coffee is not a nominated use.

, at least beer doesn't require dilution with ice cubes. :D

    That and

The COVID shock coming for Queensland — more deaths in one week than the previous 20 months

    which is why

And as for Tasmania this is possible.

'We're very concerned this is going to have a serious impact on an already overstretched health service'

Seems to be a slack attitude of trying to keep the beast out (that never worked anywhere) rather than push for increased vaccination rates - distribution issues notwithstanding.

The longest Covid-19 lockdown in the world has ended in Melbourne and people have flooded in the streets in chaotic moments of celebration on their freedom day.

Following in the footsteps of the UK making "Three dumb day" a Friday rather than a Monday as per NSW.

The ACT as at yesterday has 9 new cases, 20 in hospital and 11 in ICU with 4 on a ventilator.

Fully vaccinated rate for 12 yo+ is 87.3%

296 cases and 4 deaths for NSW.
I honestly (happily) think our cases numbers are surprisingly low since the end of lockdown.

Adding, Victoria has 1935 new cases and 11 deaths.
And: “Of the 787 people in hospital with the virus in Victoria, 146 are in an intensive care unit and 93 are on a ventilator.”

    I’d celebrate 9 new cases, that’s a great turnaround.

Depends. If testing rates are low, and that seems to be the case, then detected cases will also be low.
