got someone I know who is currently awaiting sentencing

ive called the court to see what info they could give me, and they said none,

i thought court cases, scheduling, transcripts were all available online

I know this person quite well, its a criminal case and I thought it would be a supreme court, but it seems to be in the county court

I got told that its unlikely to get any info unless you are a relative,

I thought all court proceedings and outcomes etc. etc. are avaiible publicly?

or is that supreme court only?

In Qld you can downloads all the Queensland law lists that are updated every morning,as long as you know the court and this innocent person name then it would be the same in where you have a interest in..

The policy access document in the link explains who can access what, and how. Court Connect access may be restricted in some cases but a link is provided. Most records are publicly available. Was the case heard in a open court ?
