    Is there a simple way of verifying the numbers that have been given to me as the holding costs?

    Can i simply phone up the council and ask the rates for a particular property, same with water?

    Is there a way of finding out who the strata company is too without hassling the agent / sellers?

    Hi Pats. Re rates, I think council websites might have a percentage calculation equation of your property value for rates you can work out. Good luck

    Thanks for that. It turns out you can just call them too and see what last year's was, same with the water, call the water corp.
