    HI

What sort of ball park costs would we be looking at to remove a shower, locate water leak and replace with new tiles and plumbing?

I'm thinking 2 to 4 K$. Floor space to be retiled about 5m2. Shower glass and screen was replaced a few years ago and can be reused.

Depends on the damage. New timbers, wall lining, Waterproofing.

$2-$4k for basic but even more depending on the damage. If its in timbers esp flooring. Any termite evidence ?

No termites so far. The cockies will chase them away.

When we are finished this project, where do we go to get ourselves a Cert IV in Building and Construction?

On another note: "Assembling and Installing an Ikea Kitchen" is **** easy. The only issue really was filling in around the door trims at the end of the long bench top.

Nah, the hardest part of installing the new kitchen was me trying to clean all the compost growing inside the sliding door tracks. Someone, sometime, has inserted little tricky things into the tracks so the local burglars cant remove the doors. It also means I cant remove the doors to clean behind where they cross over each other.

Mr Angel just said they are easy enough to remove but I think he needs to go to sleep now and forget about any more bloody slider frames and tracks.

We've just bought an almost new Ikea kitchen and moved two trailer loads today, another two tomorrow (fairly large kitchen).

Thankfully it had been removed by professionals and in bite sized pieces.

I'm so glad we don't have to start from scratch.

@wylie Did you install the kitchen yourselves?
