    Although I am every bit as guilty in my Ads of measuring distance to the city as the crow flies (it's much easier in a short advert than explaining the traffic densities at certain times on different roads, train and bus networks, etc, etc), I totally agree with @boganfromlogan. However, it really is quite difficult to get a good measure for this if you're not a local.
