My girlfriend is interested in a property that is being sold via ‘Sale by Set Date’.

The real estate agent has asked her to sign the Section 32 and the contract and provide a 1000 dollars deposit if she wants to place an offer.

    Is this normal?
Does she need to have the contract reviewed by a conveyancer before placing an offer? The offer will be subject to finance. Can’t she do that during the cooling off period instead?

I look forward to your help!

    Thanks

Probably a good idea to get legal advice before entering a contract.
