Rejection ends the offer. Same as if they counter offer they can't then accept you first offer

Go to a University second hand book shop. Buy a book on Contract Law from a first year business subject.

So it's quite typical then for the vendor to send the contract back to the buyer with their new proposed price penned on the form and initiated, awaiting the buyer to agree?

3 Ways to Revoke an Offer on a Property - Charter Conveyancing

If you as the seller decide to accept an offer from a buyer, you need to sign the O & A presented to you by the buyer or your agent. The signed O & A becomes a binding contract of sale (now called the contract) once acceptance is communicated to the buyer. A signed copy of the contract must be given to each party. Remember, there is no cooling off period for real estate contracts made in Western Australia unless the parties agree to have one inserted into the contract.

Yes, but will it get to the vendor in time? They might argue your withdrawal came after they accepted.
