Construction cost for underground parking and builder suggestion

    Hi everyone,

    I am doing my first development in Liverpool council NSW. I recently purchased a vacant land with intention to build a block of townhouses then sell. DA has been submitted by previous owner and still waiting for outcome. It will be 8 townhouses including 2 under affordable rental housing, with basement parking around 400m2.

    Does anyone know how much the construction cost per square meter will be for the underground parking?

    And do you know any builder who has experience with basement in Sydney? I've spoken to a few builders but they refused straight away because they don't do basement. So any suggestion would be much appreciated.

    I belive you are looking at around $2000/sqm, possibly more or less depending on soil. A lot of money for basement!

    The only reason i know its around that price is because i was inquiring about basement prices recently.
