I’m currently looking at setting up a bank account for a new business.

I currently use People’s Choice Credit Union Business Online accounts for a couple of other businesses.

This has full online access, bpay, eft, feeds to Xero, direct debits etc and pays interest 0.05% on the first $5000 and 0.7% after that. Doesn’t have card access though (although for me that’s not an issue).

I use a CBA CDIA account for another business for similar functions but it pays no interest on first $100000.

Anyone got any tips for an account that has similar features and better interest rates than these?

Most banks seem to want to have a transaction account and a savings account linked with having to transfer money between the two. I’m trying to avoid this.

    Regards,

    Jason
