Which color scheme do you think works better. I can't make my mind up , specifically to go Cinder or Graphite. Any opinions?

#1 Oak Matt to top joinery and barback, bottom joinery Graphite Matt, floor a greyish/concrete tile like in pic.

#2 Oak Matt to top joinery and barback, bottom joinery Cinder Matt, floor a greyish/concrete tile like in pic.

For handles on bottom joinery I'm going with these Kethy Oak to match top Oak joinery and barback.

Cinder Matt has more "punch" and contrast. I'd choose Cinder.

I'll go against @wylie 's choice and say Graphite - sorry @wylie! . To me Cinder seems to have a green undertone which I don't like. Could be my screen or the camera though.

What colour is your splashback and your benchtop?

On the handle front I'm noticing more and more people are not having handles at all and going for the more streamlined choice of finger rails/pulls. It's more minimalist and less busy on the eye

Here's a couple I have under construction so please excuse the mess

@Westminster island and splashback are statuario maximus caesarstone.

RE handles going for this look as it is popular with similar sales in the area.

@Westminster must be the picture from my camera..don't think there should be green undertones.

@wylie I was thinking Cinder for similar reasons you mentioned.

THose handles are pretty nice in that kitchen. I've not seen that look here.

Hmmm it does appear greyer there and they do say true grey but I swear when I look at Polytec gallery photos it's not. I struggle a lot with greys though.

Sometimes I think at the end of the day do all these slight undertones really make a difference to the buyer...or we being too pedantic as developers..

Yep saw that same pic you posted and really looks grey.

I probably have a few issues there is no doubt :p
I don't mind undertones but I do need them to match. So if your floor tile might have similar colours in its stone flecks then I try and co-ordinate to that.
Laminex Battallion might be an option for you.
Also put them next to the stone sample and see if that helps you decide

@Sackie - I'll go away from my usual colour scheme of Khaki and Mission Brown on this one.

I'd suggest: Lights Out/Midnight/Ace of Spades/Blackhole & Void (all various shades of black to reflect my mood). :D

@Westminster - what's with the mismatched grey tiles in that second photo, they'd drive me spare. (It reminds me of a developer family friend who used the ends of runs, left overs etc all in the same room).

lol. My husband does say that I probably have enough samples here to cover a whole house
Italian/morrocan mosaics are all the rage and $$$$. I'm not sure I could live with it as you need to carefully randomise the pattern and I'd be there going "hmm too many floral close together, needs more lines".

Same here, for the same reason.
I was also thinking it was looking a bit too busy, however I have seen those tiles with a stronger contrast & liked them, so maybe it's just the colour I don't like.

I also prefer Graphite - it's a tonality thing for me, it's softer and goes better I reckon - could be a screen thing though.

Maybe screens in Perth are different. I think it ties to the darker stone fragments in the concrete tile better than the other.

Are you fixed on matt? Lava is a similar tone but doesn't have the green undertone I also see in cinder. Looks like only gloss though. Possibly not helpful!!
