anyone had any experiences with the eBay Chinese car parts. I'm missing a fog light grill off my Audi and am looking at buying one of those Chinese cheap ones.

It's a not a structural or important part. Why not order it and get a Paypal refund if it doesn't fit or doesn't look good.

@Dylan33 Why don't you just go to a wreckers and pick one up? At least it will be a genuine part. Heaps of these cars are fine on one part - but are written off due for statutory reasons.

Rock up dressed in thongs and you'll be right. Walk in nicely dressed and get raped on the price :p

Chinese parts will rot and show the exposure to the elements in no time, get a 2nd hand OEM.

The only car parts from CHina which I've purchased is stuff like reverse cameras and internal dash cams.

It is hit and miss. Often the product is not actually what is photographed, has poor fitment, fades over time etc. but sometimes they can be just fine, especially for a cosmetic piece like a plastic grille.

Would be better to get 2nd hand IMO if you have the time.
