    Hi fellow PropertyChat friends,

I'm looking to purchase an established house on land (as large as I can afford), and my research has taken me to Edithvale/Chelsea.

May I kindly ask members' views on the area for long term capital growth?

What are the schools currently like? What are the demographics currently like?

Would really appreciate members' views, thank you :)

How did your research lead you to these places?...seems like you might need to do a bit more research... a google search can help you on your way.

Nice area. Nice beach. No idea about schools. Some parts of Chelsea a bit dodgy, would prefer Edithvale.

Tons of growth in recent years though, a friends land (knockdown job for the house) had offers of 600k+ 3 years ago, was recently valued circa $1m. Whether you think this means you "missed the boat" or if there is more to come is up to you...
